Source monitoring with evidence · Invite-only beta

SourceFinch

SourceFinch monitors public pages, feeds, and APIs as structured records. Every run is compared with the last down to the field, and each value keeps its receipt: a content hash, timestamps, the source URL, and the selector it came from. It is being built in public, with access by invitation while early teams are onboarded.

The perspective

Source monitoring with evidence

Change monitors say a page changed; extraction tools return rows with no chain of custody. SourceFinch turns public pages and APIs into structured records, diffs every run down to the field, and keeps the evidence behind each value. It is the hosted product built on the Source Engine acquisition runtime that the group operates, and it is being built in public with invitation-only access.

Who it serves

Analysts, compliance, research, and product teams that need to know what a public source said, when it changed, and how to prove it.

01

Pick a source

Start from a public page, feed, or API. SourceFinch detects repeated records and previews them field by field before anything is saved.

02

Capture a baseline

The first run retains the raw response, hashes it with SHA-256, timestamps it, and extracts validated records.

03

Diffs with receipts

Each run is compared with the last, and every added, removed, or edited field links to the evidence from both runs.
